Saffron Realty Inc. is a licensed California real estate brokerage. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form on this site — a home valuation request, a contact message, a contractor referral request, or a newsletter signup — we collect what you type. Depending on the form that is your name, email address, phone number, property address, and whatever you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and which pages you viewed. We use Google Analytics for this. It sets cookies in your browser to recognise repeat visits.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank details, or payment card information through this website. Nothing on this site is a payment page. If you receive a message claiming otherwise and appearing to come from us, do not respond to it — call us instead.
Why we use it
- To answer your question or fulfil the request you submitted
- To send the market report, contractor names, or valuation you asked for
- To send our newsletter, if you signed up for it
- To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed real estate brokers
- To understand which pages people actually read, so we write better ones
Calls, texts and email
If you give us a phone number, you are agreeing that we may call or text you about your enquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, and we will. Every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately — but note that if you are an active client we will still email you about your own transaction, because that is not marketing.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of outside services to run this site and our business. They receive only what they need to do their job, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Web hosting — stores the site and its form submissions
- Google Analytics — website traffic measurement
- Mailchimp — newsletter delivery
- Tally — the contractor request form on our contractors page
- Constant Contact — market update email delivery
Beyond that, we share your information only when you ask us to (for example, introducing you to a lender, inspector or contractor), or when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with data brokers, lead-buying networks, or advertisers. If you filled in a form on this site, the only people who saw it work here.
Contractor referrals
If you request contractor names, we use what you tell us about the job to choose who to suggest. We do not pass your contact details to contractors without asking you first, and we receive no fee, commission or referral payment from any contractor we name.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to documents hosted on Google Drive, forms hosted by Tally, and third-party listing sites. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s service, under their privacy policy, not ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into business are kept while there is a reasonable chance we will hear back from you, and then deleted. Records relating to actual transactions are kept for the period California law requires brokers to retain transaction files, currently three years. You can ask us to delete anything not subject to that requirement.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you
- Get a copy of it
- Have it corrected if it is wrong
- Have it deleted, subject to the record-retention rules above
- Opt out of its sale or sharing — though as stated, we do neither
- Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights
To make a request, email sachin@saffronre.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or call 650-750-6111. We will verify who you are before acting, usually by replying to the email address already on file, and we aim to respond within 45 days.
Cookies
You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you before accepting them. The site will still work; the analytics will simply stop recognising you between visits. Most browsers also send a Global Privacy Control signal if you enable it, and we honour it.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will also be mentioned in the newsletter.
